A.Is this the front desk？

是前台吗？

B.Yes.What is it，sir？

是的。有什么事吗，先生？

A.The TV set in my room doesn't work.

我房间的电视坏了。

B.Have you checked the plug？They get pulled out sometimes.

您检查插头了吗？有时候会被拉出来。

A.Yes，I've checked that.And this is the second time that it didn't work.

查过了。而且这已是电视第二次坏了。

B.I'm sorry.I'll send someone right up to have a look.

对不起，我马上派人去看看。

A.Thank you.

谢谢。

（A few minutes later几分钟后）

C.（Knock at the door ） May I come in？

（敲门）我能进来吗？

A.（Open the door ） How do you do？

（开门）您好。

C.How do you do？I'm the serviceman from the maintenance department.There is something wrong with the TV set.Is that right？

您好。我是维修部的维修工。电视机有问题，是吗？

A.Yes，the TV set in my room doesn't work.

我房间的电视坏了。

C.Oh？Let me check.（A few minutes later ） It's OK now.

让我检查一下。（几分钟后）现在好了。

A.Thank you.

C.You're welcome.What else can I do for you？

别客气。还有别的事情吗？

A.Well，I'm afraid the TV set isn't working well yet.The pictures are wobbly.

C.Oh，let me check again.（A few minutes later ）Everything is OK now.

A.Front desk.May I help you？

B.This is Room 1202.I'm afraid that the heating system doesn't work.It's very cold here.

A.Have you switched on the radiator？

您开暖气了吗？

B.Yes.I have switched it on for almost half an hour.The room is still very cold.

是的，开了差不多半小时啦。房间依然很冷。

A.We're terribly sorry.We'll send our staff to fix it now.Or do you want to change your room？

真是非常抱歉。我们马上派维修工去修理。或者您想换房吗？

B.I prefer not to move if possible.

如果可以，我还是先不换吧。

A.OK.Is it convenient for us to come now？

B.Yes，please.
