Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?
The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.
The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
When the storms of life come upon us and all of us will experience them we can rise above them by setting our minds and our beliefs toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.
God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar abovethe storm.
Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.
你是否知道暴风雨来临之前，雄鹰很早便能预知它何时到来呢？
雄鹰会飞向高空，期待着大风的来临。当暴风雨袭来时，它会顺着风而振翅高飞，飞到暴风雨之上。当暴风雨变得更加猛烈时，它已在高空翱翔。
雄鹰不会躲避暴风雨。它只会借助暴风雨，借助暴风雨前夕的风而飞得更高。
当生活的暴风雨袭来时，我们同样可以利用意志和虔诚的信念，飞到暴风雨之上，经历暴风雨的洗礼。暴风雨绝对不能战胜我们，相反，我们可以借助上帝的力量战胜它们。
上帝激励我们勇于战胜生活中的暴风雨（如疾病、悲剧、失败、失望等），我们同样可以翱翔于暴风雨中。
记住，生活本身的重担并不能压垮我们，而是取决于我们面对它时的心态。

在人生的暴风雨来临时，我们是否也能够像雄鹰那样，振翅高飞，凌驾于暴风雨之上？我想答案是肯定的，因为上帝赐予我们磨难原本就是为了历练我们，只是人们常常被眼前的安逸蒙蔽了双眼，以至于曲解了上帝的好意。
