You are booking a flight seat to Los Angles,but it is fully booked up.
A:Good morning. What can I do for you?
B:Yes,I’d like to make a reservation to Los Angles next week.
A:OK. When do you want to fly?
B:Monday,September 16.
A:On Monday we have Flight 4802 at 9:30 and 4612 at 13:20. Just a moment please. Let me check whether there are seats available. I’m sorry we are all booked up for Flight 4802 on that day. Shall I book you a seat on Flight 4612?
B:I prefer to take the morning flight. Any alternatives?
A:The next available flight is 4424,leaves at 9:00 Tuesday morning September 17. Shall I book you a seat?
B:Er… It is a direct flight,isn’t it?
A:Yes,it is.
B:All right.
A:You want to go first class or coach?
B:I prefer first class,what’s the fare?
A:One way is $176.
B:OK. I will take the 9:00 flight on Tuesday.
A:A seat on Flight 4424 to Los Angles 9:00 Tuesday morning. Is it all right,Madam?
B:Right. Can you also put me on the waiting list for 4802?

B:This is Jason Brown from the USA. I’m a delegate and wonder if you can help me to book the hotel.
A:Sure. There are two hotels nearby:one is Four Seasons,five-star,and the other is Holiday Inn,three-star.
B:How much is the room rate?
A:For a twin,Four Seasons charges US$185 per night,and Holiday Inn,US$100. Which one would you prefer?
B:Holiday Inn will do.
A:Sure. For which date,please?
B:I’d like to check in on Nov.30th,and check out on Dec.3rd.
A:From Nov.30th to Dec.3rd for three days.
B:Yes.
A:Let me repeat your reservation:a twin room for Mr.Jason Brown in Holiday Inn,from Nov.30th to Dec.3rd for three days. Is that right?
B:Yes,exactly.

B:By telephone and in my name.
A:Please wait a moment.
B:OK.
A:Thanks for waiting. You have booked 3 double rooms from July 4th to 6th,correct?
B:Right,but the meeting has been postponed until 25th to 30th of July. Do you think it’s possible for us to change the reservation?
A:Let me check the reservation list. I’m really sorry,we have no double rooms vacant on those days. We have just 10 single rooms available.
